Labels

Although I keg the majority of my beer, it's easier to share or to take to club meetings if you bottle it.  I've recently started to bottle a gallon or so of each beer I make and no bottle would be complete without a label of some sort.

I print these labels on normal white paper then stick them to the bottle with milk.  Yes MILK!!  Sounds odd, I know, but it's readily available in most houses, costs nothing (unless you get caught!) and washes off easily so you don't have to scrape the old labels off next time you use them.  Just use the pastry brush (another reason not to get caught) to smear milk on the bottle then apply the label.  Use a tissue to remove the excess milk.

Here are a few of my labels.
